Información sin Barreras, formerly known as ContraCovid NYC, is an organization dedicated to helping low income individuals throughout New York City. We are a group of public health professionals and students from across the world who are dedicated to ensuring marginalized individuals have the information and tools needed to uplift themselves and their families.

Support Needed

Help us support immigrants from African and South American countries that have been forced to relocate from their home countries and are being placed in shelters in New York and other cities.

Our Services

Social Service Navigation Program

Información sin Barreras Social Services Navigator Program helps people obtain the right resources to meet their needs. We focus on obtaining resources for housing, immigration, employment, food, access to health care, education, transportation, among others. Our team members schedule one on one appointments to help community members understand and apply for programs like SNAP, WIC, and other services.

Información sin Barreras translation team offers beginner level English classes to non english speakers around NYC. Our goal is to make information more accessible to immigrant communities and empower individuals to feel comfortable navigating everyday life in English.
